The IGDA will be in FORCE at GDC this year!

Hello Members, for those of you going to GDC this year, click on the button to the right IGDA @ GDC for a list of the happenings going on.

A few items that are important:

IGDA Happy Hour with Gamedev.net & Gamespy Technology @ GDC - RSVP Required!

The IGDA is holding a happy hour withour Friends from Gamedev.net & Gamespy Technology on Friday from 6pm - 8pm at Jillians. RSVP's are required and a limited number of FREE drink tickets are available upon completion of the Quest for Glory!

IGDA GAME @ GDC

Bring on the FUN! The IGDA in partnership with Arkadium and Local No. 12 are running a twitter based game at GDC this year called BACKCHATTER!

IGDA Legal Roundtable for Lawyers and Aspiring Lawyers:

If you have an interest in what it takes to be a lawyer in our industry, here's you chance to learn from a group of seasoned veterens.
Jim Charne, a long time supporter of the IGDA, has put together a panel of Game Industry Lawyers to talk candidly about what it means to be in that aspect of our community:

The Round Table Session will be on Wednesday March 10th from 1-3pm in Room 228 in the East Mezzanine.

Philadelphia IGDA Leadership Meeting Notes from 3/4/2010

On Thursday, March 4, the newly appointed Philadelphia Chapter Leadership team met to discuss goals for the upcoming year and the next chapter meeting.

Attached (below) are full meeting notes.

Due to both GDC and PAX East taking place in March, in order to avoid rushing to get a meeting organized, the team has opted to forgo a March meeting. As mentioned in the meeting notes, going forward, all Philadelphia IGDA Chapter meetings will take place on the 1st Saturday of the month.
