IGDA Developer Satisfaction Survey

The IGDA exists to advance the careers and enhance the lives of game developers worldwide. To aid us in doing this and to better serve our members, information about who they are, what they do and how they feel about their industry is mission critical.

In 2014, the IGDA launched its annual Developer Satisfaction Survey to update our knowledge of the current demographic composition of the video game industry, understand general quality of life and gauge developers’ overall satisfaction with the state of the game industry and where it’s going. The 2014 survey was launched from a partnership with Western University (Ontario, Canada), M2 Research, Georgia Institute of Technology and TÉLUQ University (Québec, Canada). The 2015 survey and beyond is primarily conducted by Western University and TÉLUQ University.
