Global Game Jam 2011 - An Amazing Worldwide Experience!

An amazing year for Global Game Jam! With 169 sites in 44 countries and 6573 jammers creating 1479 games , the largest site in the world is again the Nordic Game Jam for the with 228 attendees however, we have many huge sites this year.

The largest site in North America is New York University  with 146 participants, which makes it the 6th largest of global sites.  3rd largest site (at 161 attendees) is Rangsit University in Thailand (updated statistics at: http://globalgamejam.org/status  ) With sponsors Autodesk, Gamesalad, Intel and Gamespy, and a partnership with ACM, the event has been a great success and we are looking forward to to Global Game Jam 2012!
