IGDA-Huntsville is a nonprofit advocacy group for the video games industry in Huntsville, AL. Our goals are focused on strengthening professional game development in the Huntsville area by:
- Fostering a sense of community amongst game developers
- Keeping talent in Huntsville
- Attracting talent to Huntsville
- Showcasing the fact that Huntsville has an excellent game development community

Inside the Game Studio - Tuesday, April 19 2011 at 6 p.m.
Come one, come all to the first IGDA meeting of 2011. On Tuesday, April 19th, IGDA Huntsville will present "Inside the Game Studio" - a panel consisting of:
- Rev. Dr. Josh Drescher (former EA/Mythic - Dark Age of Camelot, Warhammer Online)
- Wes Platt (former Icarus Studios - Fallen Earth)
- Nathan Hanish (former EA - James Bond, Godfather)
The panel will answer 20 questions about the joys, trials, and tribulations of working for a major game studios followed by questions from the audience in an open forum.
The meeting will be held at UAH Tech Hall, conference room S301. Tech Hall is just South of Technology Drive and just West of Sparkman Drive. S301 is on the south side of the building on the third floor, immediately past the southern stairwell. Soda and pizza will be provided.
