Artificial Intelligence

We'll be right back!

The Artificial Intelligence SIG is getting a facelift, a rebrand and a relaunch! After a long period of inactivity, it's time to get the show back on the road!

We remain committed to:

  • Promoting further adoption of AI in Games
  • The development of Game AI programmers
  • Increasing the visibility and accessibility of the great AI resources that exist.

Our new interim chair is Luke Dicken, who would be delighted to hear from you regarding what exactly you want to see from your AI SIG - get in touch at luke@lukedicken.com

News / updates

Welcome to the 2012 AI SIG

As noted on the SIG's front page, there's a move afoot to get the Artificial Intelligence SIG back together.

To do that, we need to hear from you what you want from the SIG. Where do you see it fitting in to the wider community? Get in touch in the comments and let us know!

Getting the SIG back up and running is not an overnight job unfortunately, so I really hope that you'll be as patient as possible, and please help out if you can.

Thanks a lot, and welcome to the new AI SIG for 2012!

Luke

Logo

Hmm... our front page looked a bit strange with the white space without a logo. Just added a quick-and-dirty "placeholder logo". I guess we should have a logo contest at some time!

Best,
Alex (AI SIG Chair)

Welcome!

Welcome to the brand new web experience of the IGDA & AI SIG!

We have been waiting for it for - well, let's better not go into this but cheer it's finally here! I hope the new webpage will provide a much better and broader interaction. We have a forum, a blog... and hopefully, we'll get our wiki up and running soon as well!
