CMI Has Massive Multi-Developer Positions

Critical Mass Interactive seeks:
Experenced MMOG Contractors immediately

We have started a new MMOG contract with a number of openings for contractors that have completed these tasks successfully on prior projects. CLIENT LAUNCHER/PATCHING SYSTEM – including server.
AUDIO SYSTEM – wrapper around Miles with caching system and perhaps integration into the client and some of our tools.
IN GAME VOIP – investigate/recommend and then implement a peer to peer voice over IP solution for use in game.
PRE-RENDERED MOVIE PLAYBACK– wrapper around Bink or DirectShow.
AUTO-BUILD SYSTEM – make scheduled builds of the clients and server, including generating input for patching system and creating installer (see next task, Game Installer).
GAME INSTALLER.
LOAD TESTING – ability to run multiple headless clients that simulate players connecting into the game world for load testing and demos.
INTERACTIVE WORLD OBJECTS – using a predefined architecture, build out tons and tons of interactive objects for use in game world.
TEXT TO SPEECH SYNTHESIS – use AT&T synthesis technology for in game text to speech.
PROCESS MANAGEMENT – support the ability to start/stop processes in a shared and monitor them.
CHAT SERVER.
STATS/AUDIT SERVER – collect player stats as well as audit data for customer service.
METRICS – server performance/activity metrics.
BACKUP SYSTEM – backup system for in house assets/database.
