Online Alchemy seeks 3D Graphics Programmer
Online Alchemy is looking for an experienced graphics programmer.
This could be either a full or part-time contract (including tele-commute) that becomes a full-time employee position (with benefits) for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Work in a dynamic, collaborative startup environment to aid in the development of our next-generation PC-based MMOG (not a "men in tights" game)
- Lead efforts on or contribute to cutting edge graphical engine implementation, including renderer, shaders, tools, and scripting
- Work with a small diverse team, communicating and collaborating well with others in diverse disciplines
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years industrial experience working in C++/C# (entry-level candidates will NOT be considered for this position)
- Significant experience in 3D graphics programming using existing renderers (Gamebryo, Ogre, Axiom, etc)
- Experience with shader programming using HLSL or CG
- Excellent math skills (matrix, quaternion, and vector math)
- Ability to work well in a startup environment with a dynamic team: lots of opportunity, lots of change
- Desire to innovate quickly and develop ground-breaking products from concept to deployment
Preferred Experience (the more the better!)
- Shipped at least one commercial title, preferably in games
- Tool development, using .Net, MFC, Max Script, etc
- Leadership and managing technical teams
