Aspyr Seeks Senior PC Game Programmers
Aspyr Studios is seeking a senior PC programmer to work on a Sims-type line of PC games. This position is for a key team member who will tackle the game's most challenging programming tasks, including extending and optimizing rendering systems. Candidates must have previous game industry experience, and be located in Austin, Texas or willing to relocate.
Requirements:
- 4-5 years of programming experience on Windows and/or game consoles.
- Background in Direct3D/OpenGL.
- Backgorund in foreign localization tools a plus.
- Experience working on at least 1-2 completed commercial games required.
- Fluency in C/C++.
- Strong debugging skills, including ability to work with large existing codebases.
- Familiarity with source code control systems, i.e. Perforce.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
