Bioware Austin Seeks Onsite Contract Recruiter

BioWare Austin is searching for an onsite Contract Recruiter to source key talent. Our growth and continued success has created a very special opportunity in our internal hiring department. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on a high profile project with hiring needs spanning across multiple disciplines. As our Contract Recruiter, you would provide the highest level of staffing service to BioWare leaders and employees, delivering high quality, professional level candidates and advancing the BioWare brand across markets and professional communities for the next leading MMO. This person MUST work onsite and preferably have industry related experience. Local candidates only.

Key Responsibilities


  • Develops recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools.
  • Creative sourcing of candidates through a wide variety of channels such as direct sourcing, executive searches, internet, college recruiting, job fairs, networking and recruitment agencies.
  • Coordinates interview scheduling and logistical support functions for all candidates and hiring managers.
  • Posts job advertisements, reviews resumes, searches the Internet and relevant databases, networking and qualifying candidates.
  • Conducts candidate reference checks while developing additional business relationships and partnerships.
  • Participates and acts as a liaison in job forums, job fairs and college career centers.
  • Updates and maintains internal staffing reports.
  • Completes necessary pre-employment processes; including reference checks.
  • Documents post-interview debrief/feedback and post-mortems sessions with interview teams and candidates.

Experience and Qualifications

  • A Bachelors Degree in a related discipline preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of recent recruiting experience, technical recruiting a plus
  • Broader Human Resources experience preferred
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience is essential, preferably in the high tech arena; agency experience a plus
  • The proven ability to recruit on a national, multi-location level is strongly preferred
  • Must have the ability to perform research, extensive phone calls, and all tasks related to the recruitment process
  • Willingness and ability to meet aggressive deadlines and extraordinary attention to details
  • Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills (cross-functional team environments)
  • Ability to self motivate and self-direct with strong drive for results and passion for recruiting
  • Must possess strong analytical skills including, evaluating and assessing candidates
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, MS Outlook, sourcing tools and applicant tracking systems
  • Knowledge and understanding of applicable Federal and State regulations
  • Previous experience with visa sponsorships preferred
