Austin Community College seeks 3D ANIMATION Instructors

We are looking for some gung ho animators to teach part-time during the coming spring semester at Austin Community College's Visual Communication department. We have openings at the Northridge campus (11928 Stonehollow Drive).

Classes may include:


  • 3D Animation I -- beginning level 3D animation using provided rigged models/scenes; students have 1 semester of software experience
  • 3D Animation III -- highest level of 3D animation; curriculum includes BiPed, film & game dev production-like projects
  • 3D Pre-Production -- students build a Production Book w/ Concept Art to guide them through the creation of their Portfolio content in the following semester

Minimum qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years experience in the animation/game development industry (letters of verification will be required).
  • 2 or 4 year degree in 3D animation -Modeling, Rigging, Animation
  • Animators first, modelers & riggers second.
  • Knowledge of 3D Studio Max
