Aspyr seeks Executive Producer

Aspyr Media is looking for an Executive Producer. Responsibilities include managing the production of various complex projects simultaneously from concept to completion while ensuring the creative vision, project budget, timeline expectations and project communications are successfully managed. The candidate is also responsible for providing additional team leadership to production team by assisting with team recruiting, communications, process creation and product evaluation.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leading Producers, Associate Producers, and Production Coordinators to meet production plan requirements and personally managing the day-to-day production schedule of projects with more challenging requirements.
- Working closely with development, QA, marketing and project support teams to establish the project timeline with important milestone dates and managing to the timeline.
- Approving all deliverables for payment and/or submission for assigned projects according to the pre-determined milestone schedule.
- Managing project budgets to ensure the projects are completed successfully while maintaining the established budgets.
- Managing project communications with Aspyr teams as well as external project teams or partners.
- Managing project communications with Aspyr decision-makers to ensure appropriate project decisions are made according to green-light approval specifications.
- Working directly with development team(s) to make progress towards project milestone goals and remove constraints to progress through quick, decisive problem solving.
- Utilizing the support of the Project Office in order to manage all project localizations, product approvals and certifications.
- Supporting marketing efforts by providing builds, screenshots, trailers, etc. for press needs.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for all development and quality assurance needs in the production process of assigned projects.
- Participating in Aspyr meetings to discuss project kick-off, project status and green-light decisions.
- Assisting with recruiting and training of production team.
- Providing input on production tools and project methodology to ensure a uniform process among the Aspyr Production Department.
- Assisting with building and maintaining the ongoing accumulation of best practices for game production.
- Supporting the Green-light process by contributing to the pre-production process and participating in product evaluation discussions and decisions.
- Providing insight, expert opinion and reviews during the product evaluation cycle to ensure a high rate of success for all Aspyr game products.
- Providing creative solutions to game development and marketing issues to ensure game timelines, budgets, retailer expectations and user expectations are met successfully.
- Building production teams and game development budgets that minimize financial risk.
- Providing mentorship to the production team and Aspyr personnel with regard to game development and production.
- Participating in Aspyr meetings and providing input to company strategy and company practices.
Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of the game development process, including original content as well as re-publishing products.
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of game production and project management.
- Eight to ten years of experience in the game industry, producing multi-platform game titles.
- Two to three years of managing production teams to produce large game titles.
- Ability to manage a team of game production personnel through strong leadership, mentorship, and problem-solving skills.
