Aspyr seeks QA Tester
As a Contract Tester reporting to the Assistant Software Test Lead or Software Test Lead you will be responsible for creating/running test cases, entering bugs, and performing regression testing. Teamwork and a professional attitude is KEY in this role. Composure and interpersonal skills are crucial in this role. Both verbal and written communication, along with interpersonal skills, is a MUST!
Key responsibilities
- Identify software bugs, run test suites, verify fixes, test tools, and compatibility matrixes
- Enter bugs/tasks into the bug tracking system
- Create/run test cases and test suites to help identify and resolve issues
- Provide internal support and information about the product to the company as requested
Required Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient software and hardware troubleshooting skills
- Proficient in Windows and Macintosh Operating Systems
- Passion for games and gaming
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to remain focused until project completion
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience and understanding of console or PC game testing is desirable
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 6 months of technical experience preferred
- Familiarity with console systems is preferred
