Call for Audio Mixer Competition Participants

It's a common question: "What can an audio person like me do to get into the industry?"

Well...
Coming down the pipe is a contest for the audio engineers among us who would either like to get more exposure or just have some fun.

  1. Start with a gameplay video of recognized video games - Single game or multiple games - Spliced any way you like.
  2. Mix your own audio to this video. Make it entertaining, funny, or perhaps just plain wrong in a big way
  3. Your mixed audio and video will be judged at a future public event.
The best videos will be showcased and credited on our website. The winner will get a worthy prize for people who like to make sounds.

This event won't happen if there are not enough competitors. To enter, register your interest by sending a message about the audio competition here. We are targeting the end of summer as the time to throw this audio engineering event. This is your chance to show the world that audio engineering for games is more than just making a mix CD!
