Ghostfire Games seeks Sfx Artist
Ghostfire Games (www.ghostfiregames.com) is an Austin TX game development company focused on building downloadable games for the Nintendo Wii (WiiWare). We have completed our first title, Helix, which is scheduled for release in Summer 2008. We are now about to begin work on a new secret game.
Ghostfire Games is a great place to work since we do very short projects. Our first game took 6 months to create, and that's what we anticipate for each of our upcoming games. This way you don't get stuck on a long, boring project and can keep changing gears and learning new things. Our company is also very small, so if you work with us, you'll be able to make a big impact and have ownership of a large part of the game.
We have a great opportunity for a Special Effects Artist. This is a part-time contractor position that may develop into a full-time position as the company grows. As a Special Effects Artist you would play a key role in building all relevant special effects for our upcoming game.
