Junction Point Studios seeks Graphics Programmer

Founded by Warren Spector, Junction Point Studios (JPS) joined Disney Interactive Studios (DIS) in September of 2007 and is quickly growing. While DIS is part of the larger Walt Disney Company, we still have the autonomy of a smaller developer/publisher without many of the risks and restrictions associated with start-ups.
Comprised of experienced game developers from places like Origin, Looking Glass, Electronic Arts, Sony, Sony Online, Digital Anvil, NC Soft, Rare and many more, we believe long-term success can best be achieved by delivering games of the highest quality – in game play and presentation, notably on time and budget. While hard work and commitment to quality is important, quality of life is equally important and our goal is to create an environment that fosters a superior work/life balance.

Ghostfire Games seeks Senior Artist

Ghostfire Games (www.ghostfiregames.com) is an Austin TX game development company focused on building downloadable games for the Nintendo Wii (WiiWare). We have completed our first title, Helix, which is scheduled for release in Summer 2008. We are now about to begin work on a new secret game.

Ghostfire Games is a great place to work since we do very short projects. Our first game took 6 months to create, and that's what we anticipate for each of our upcoming games. This way you don't get stuck on a long, boring project and can keep changing gears and learning new things. Our company is also very small, so if you work with us, you'll be able to make a big impact and have ownership of a large part of the game.

We have a great opportunity for a Senior Artist. This is a part-time contractor position that may develop into a full-time position as the company grows. For this project you would play a key role in building artwork and would have ownership over major areas of the artwork.

Opportunities exist for character modeling, environment modeling, texturing, and UI artwork (depending on your background and expertise). No animation opportunities are available at this time.
