The IGDA - Bangkok Chapter(IGDABKK) has been contacted by A. Kasem Lumpoon of the Thai Animation & Multimedia Association (TAMMA) regarding an invitation to share a booth at the Bangkok International Film Festival (http://www.bangkokfilm.org) just on the evening of February 8, 2005. After discussions with the local chapter, we have planned to set up the booth on the theme “Overview of the Game Development Industry In Thailand” in which we aim to provide a quick overview of the games, company, indie studios, independent developer works, and other interesting facets of the game development industry in Thailand in an unbiased way to visitors and guests of the festival that are mostly in the movie industry. In the festival we plan to show video presentations of different organizations, distribute flyers (Company/Organization/Developer Profile) and contact information for inquiring visitors if they are interested in certain organizations.

We would like to invite all game companies, indie studios, esteemed developers, and related organizations to send in the following to IGDABKK so that we can promote your organization’s work:

  • 1. AVI Demo (Recommended to include the company name, contact (url), and a collage of the companies key products)

    • a. AVI Demo should be in AVI Format with 720x576 resolution running at 25 fps and Pixel Aspect Ratio D1/DV PAL(1.067)

    • b. AVI Demo should not exceed 2 minutes

    • c. Please provide specific codec if the encoded video uses a special video codec

  • 2. Flyers (Recommended to include your Organization Profile and possibly a NameCard of the contact person)
