GET INVOLVED in the Casual Games Development Community
The IGDA Casual Games SIG ("special interest group") represents a broad cross-section of the leaders and thinkers in the casual games industry. Our goals are to:
*Provide research and data useful to developers of casual games
*Foster the casual game development community
Casual Games SIG Publications
In addition to the Casual Games Quarterly, members of the Casual Games SIG, in conjunction with the Online Games SIG and many generous volunteers, have produced a comprehensive white paper covering the casual games industry. The 2005 Casual Games White Paper is an updated paper that provides even more information than its predecessor, The 2004 Web/Downloadable Games White Paper, released at last year's GDC by the Online Games SIG.
