IGDA Ottawa is pleased to announce a round tables event - we have 5 topics for you to choose from!

Time to have a real sit-down chat with other members of the community and maybe teach them a thing or two in the process.
Everyone interested in the gaming community of Ottawa is invited - its a great opportunity to meet members of your community, so please pass this invitation on to anyone else who you think would be interested.

When: March 2nd - arrive from 6:30, tables begin at 7:00, we get kicked out at 9:00

IGDA Los Angeles moves into February and GDC season with the second chapter meeting of the year! We invite you to join us on the second Thursday of each month as we explore current industry topics, connect with our professional peers and foster the advancement of the video game industry.

Spend an evening with a group of experienced games writers who will share their thoughts on game writing and where it’s headed by regaling stories of how they broke into the industry, discussing the obstacles that face writers new to the industry and answer any questions the audience might have. In association with IGDA’s Writing SIG and the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain, IGDA’s London chapter invite all those interested in games writing to join them on the Thursday, December 3 at 7 pm at London South Bank University (followed by a pint at The Ship).

Next Philly IGDA Meeting Will Be August 29th, 2009

Our next meeting will be held at Levine Hall on Penn's campus, starting in room 307. It will consist of four roundtable discussions, each taking place in a separate room (we will split after everyone has met in 307). Also, Joshua Caulfield, the new Executive Director of the IGDA, will be in attendance.
