OC Chapter Meeting Report - February 2010
Obsidian Entertainment hosted a capacity crowd at the February chapter meeting for the OC IGDA, with 140+ local developers and students turning out for a highly entertaining panel discussion on the topic of "Creative Writing in Video Games."

Ratrod studio - Nomination for an award
"Mike V: Do or Die", a game produced by Ratrod Studio, was just nominated at the International Mobile Gaming Award.
The game is schedule to be released in February 2010.
Microsoft Tinker (A game produced by Fuel Games) is now avaiable on Windows XP, Vista and 7.
Last year, Microsoft did release Tinker for Vista Ultimate users. This game produced by Fuel Games (and developed by several of the IGDA Ottawa exec members!) is now available to all windows users!

Philly Game Jam featured at GameX Industry Summit
Philadelphia, PA---Tuesday, June 30, 2009---The GameX Industry Summit today announced it will host the 2nd Annual Philly Game Jam – the Northeast’s premier game-building event. Co-located with GameX (Games & Media Expo) on October 24-25, 2009, GameX Industry Summit is presented by the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) chapters in New York, New Jersey, Boston, Baltimore and Philadelphia.
