In this panel presentation, the directors of Midway Internal Studios, Day
One Studios and Wideload Games discuss their different approaches to making games on
the latest console platforms. These three companies are all facing the challenge of
creating best in class videogames on brand new hardware. Their size varies from a dozen
to hundreds. Hear and learn how each of these different companies have organized to solve
the challenges of rising costs, schedule pressure and quality of life.

Marketing Director at TLC Industries talked about the History of Arcade
Game Development. James has worked to promote independent game developers
for nearly a decade at CyPR Media and is now the
Marketing Director for TLC Industries where in addition to promoting the
company he works with, he helps developers in recruiting new games for FlexArcade and NextArcade.
His talk presented a historical perspective on the arcade industry and
discusses subjects including why the coin-op, arcade game industry failed and
how game developers will help revive it. Other subjects included what
operators are looking for in new arcade titles, how developers can benefit
by being in the arcade space and how development and distribution differs
between the PC-software and arcade industries. More information on TLC can
