PLAY! A Video Game Symphony in Detroit

PLAY! A Video Game Symphony, coming to Detroit in July. On Wednesday, July 12th at 8 PM, "PLAY! A Video Game Symphony" will make a third stop on its worldwide tour at the Max M. Fisher Music Center. "PLAY! ... " is a new concert series that draws from a catalogue of blockbuster video games, bringing these games to vibrant life with a full orchestra and choir. The concert features award-winning music from popular titles including Final Fantasy®, Silent Hill®, Battlefield 1942™, Metal Gear Solid®, The Legend Of Zelda®, World of Warcraft®, Sonic The HedgehogTM, The Elder Scrolls III®: MorrowindTM, and Shenmue™. Outstanding graphics on large screens above the orchestra will accompany the scores to highlight memorable moments from the games. This two-hour concert will be performed by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and chorus and conducted by Grammy Award-winning conductor Arnie Roth.
