Gaming, viewed principally as an entertainment technology, has increasingly influenced visualization in the design fields. How might this influence continue to affect architectural practice and vice versa?

The District Architecture Center, the AIA|DC Technology Committee, and the DC Metro Chapter of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA DC) present "Games and Architectural Design: Not Your Father's Atari," an exploration of how virtual and physical environments influence and overlap one another.

IGDA members can save $5!

This hour-long panel discussion will compare the goals of interactive environments with those of architectural and urban space, identify the benefits of interactivity in design, and explore technologies that apply digital information to the designed environment.
