Barcelona's Gamelab event is gearing up for its 2015 show, setting out its stall with a number of key headline speakers for the June showcase.

Taking place from 24-26 June at the Barcelo Sants Hotel, Gamelab covers the full spectrum of the games industry from AAA to indie development, from mobile to VR. Headlining this year are Prince of Persia creator Jordan Mechner and idiosyncratic Grasshopper Interactive founder Goichi Suda. Shinji Mikami, creator of Resident Evil series and The Evil Within, and Unity's David Helgason also tops the bill. They'll be joined by narrative mastermind Chris Crawford, Witcher 3 director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz and Alien Isolation creative director Alistair Hope.

Leading the indie track are Vlambeer's Rami Ismail and Gone Home author Steve Gaynor, as well as Talos Principle writer Tom Jubert and independent consultant and designer Whitney Hill. Joju games founder Juan Gril, will moderate a panel discussion featuring some of the best European indie teams of 2015, and edutainment specialist Gonzalo Frasca will do the same with some of the most bright speakers on the Education and Videogames topic, such as the Forbes Columnist Jordan Shapiro or the DragonBox games creator, Jean-Baptiste Juynh.

Pacman creator, professor Toru Iwatani, will also participate at the event, speaking about the challenges of games education.

Alongside the AAA, the Indie and the education lead tracks, this year's show features a program dedicated to forward-looking technologies like VR, wearable tech, VR and holographic tech. Sony's Project Morpheus father, Dr. Richard Marks, and the founder of the first mixed reality Theme Parks "TheVoid (" are just two of the key representatives that will attend Gamelab Barcelona 2015.

You might also like to know that Gamelab Barcelona has already registered over 70 indie teams from Spain, Portugal and LatinAmerica to showcase at its usual Indie Hub lounge, and that also celebrates the annual Spanish Game Developers Awards with over 100 candidates.
