Are my ambitions for game design preventing me from landing a QA job?

Hello everyone!

I recently graduated with a B.S. degree in August and have been unable to find a QA position. I have had three phone interviews of which one lead to an on site interview.

I fully expected it to be difficult to find a job but it didn't think it would take this long. So I am wondering if I am sending up some red flags that could cause me to be overlooked. Mainly my long term ambitions to be a game designer.

I downplay those ambitions as much as I can in my cover letters and interviews. But when they see a degree focused in game design on the resume I fear they pass me over thinking I am not really interested in QA to begin with.

I live in the S.F. Bay area and have friends in some reputable companies so I'm praying it is just "the economy" at the moment. I have even considering taking my degree off the resume but that just seems silly.

Feedback is much appreciated! Attached is my resume, I apologize for not having a web friendly version at the moment Sad Thanks for your time.
