Hello Everyone,

FAU Game Design Club is happy to announce that we will be holding a workshop Wednesday 03.03.10 at 7:00PM on Game-Resolution Mesh Modeling. The meeting will be in the Reubin Askew Tower, Room 921, of our downtown Fort Lauderdale campus. Tyler Bronis, our award-winning VP, will be going over his workflow of a high-poly model. He will also show how to make a game-res mesh for it and how to bake a normal map onto it. There will not be enough time to model together, but here's what we will be working on: http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b116/broness/public/Rendercopy.jpg

If you have some spare time, model it at home and we can compare methods and techniques at the workshop. Also we will be using this model for a texturing workshop in the future.

If you are coming from another school or organization outside of FAU, please bring a laptop or notebook to follow along with because unfortunately due to FAU policies you will not be permitted to use our computers.

Following the meeting there will be a social at Briny's Riverfront Restaurant where everyone can network and get to know each other.

We look forward to seeing you!
