Game Proposal required details
Hi all,
I'm looking for some advice on game proposals, particularly what publishers/investors are looking for. Ok, before anyone can stomp me for not doing my own research, yes, I have/am scouring the internet for any information and reading all the books on the subject I can find, but what I'm looking for here is some experienced input. Any specific things that you've encourntered working with/for one publisher or another, any easy to miss or overlook little things you pick up along the way? Now, in the spirit of full disclosure this is not just for my game making endevours (although, that does play a big part), I am working on a product for game businesses (startup through steady state), and I'm putting together a template for game proposals as part of that effort. If that affects your decision to respond I understand, it's not good "business poker" but I perfer to lay my cards on the table and let them ride on their own merit, that's just me
.
All input is welcome!
Thanks,
Galen
