How have you benefitted from IGDA?

Greetings everyone?

I am new to the forums, and have already posted my greeting in the new member topic. But I just have one question for all the old-timers and veterans here at IGDA.

How have you benefitted from being a member here?

I simply ask because I'm thinking about upgrading my membership pretty soon, and I'd like to hear what the experts have to say. It is great to take part in this group and I hope to grow from it!
