Seeking advice for starting a company

I've been working with a small group of developers for a few months, and we've begun talking about starting our own independent company. Although all of us have game development and/or management experience, none of us have ever founded a company before and we need advice from people that know what they're doing when it comes to starting a company. I'll probably post more questions as they arise, but here are the two main questions I have right now.

• LLC. vs Corporation -- We're a small group of developers that have never started or run a company before. We're leaning towards forming a limited liability company, but could use an outside opinion of which would better suit our needs.
• I've picked up Secrets of the Game Business and am using it as my primary reference. Are there any other must-read books or articles for start-ups that you would recommend?
