(Wanted) Games Head Lecturer - SAE Institute Singapore

Position: Head Lecturer for Games Department - SAE INSTITUTE

SAE Institute’ is expanding and looking for a qualified Head Lecturer for the Games Department. The Head Lecturer has a key role in providing leadership, direction and coordination for the department. The Lecturer is to undertake coordination, teaching and course development responsibilities, which have been informed by research and other scholarly activities, in order to enhance the quality of the teaching and learning environments provided by SAE Institute. In addition, the Head Lecturer will liaise with the Academic Coordinator for coordination as well as Student Services Administration staff to ensure the successful delivery of the department.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a minimum degree qualification in computer games programming or a related field and/or have at least 5 years of industry experience
Ability to work with all levels of staff
shipped at least 1 commercial game product
expert in C++ and practical software development
ability to teach C++ game programming in several disciplines, including 2D/3D graphics programming, game physics and mathematics, real-time networking, tools development, etc
ability to mentor students and provide individual guidance
Able to work independently as well as a good team player with good initiative
Candidates who have previously worked with educational institutions are preferred
