Where the hell is the board?
A new website is launched, arguably with the worst forum system seen anywhere on the Internet in the last ten years, you've got people correctly saying that to revert to the old site would be a MAJOR functional upgrade, and this is the time for the board to go AWOL?
Thank goodness my money no longer goes to this Mickey Mouse organization. No wait I take that back - it's an insult to the Disney Corporation.
On that note I'd like to point out my status on this forum is incorrect. Says I'm a "core member" whatever that is. I am proudly no longer a member of the IGDA, lucky me, my membership expired last month. So none of my money is going to support travesties like this web site or the boards inexcusable incompetence in a) allowing it to be rolled out and b) not reverting back to the vastly superior old site and c) not sacking everybody who made decisions about the procurement of this site.
Well, if nothing else, it looks like an e-mail went out today for a Technology Advisory Group, which seems pretty web-focused... including asking for people with experience using Drupal. So, perhaps the site will be replaced with something more... modern, usable, etc... soon.

So, the feature that I most request for the new site while we was still on the old site was not added...
I requested several times a... cancel membership button.
I still want it, I don't want to wait the 2 months left of membership...
