Dear IGDA Members and friends,
This month's newsletter is getting out nice and early so we can get back to putting
the finishing touches on our GDC plans. As you'll read below, the IGDA has a
full program at this year's conference: lots of sessions, a lounge for hanging
out, and of course the Game Developers Choice Awards.
Candidate nominations for the 2002 IGDA Board of Directors election are now closed,
and we're pleased to present another excellent slate. Check out our elections
web page at http://www.igda.org/About/Directors/elections.htm and come to our
Annual Meeting at GDC to meet the candidates in person. Voting starts after GDC.
Two IGDA committees completed significant projects recently. This month we launched
our high school outreach program, developed by the Education Committee. And the
Online Committee delivered the final version of its IGDA Online Games Whitepaper,
to be presented at GDC. Thanks to the committee members for their hard work!
