IGDA Perspectives June 2010 Edition

Hey there, everyone!
Welcome to the new and improved IGDA Perspectives Newsletter. From here on out, each month we will have a theme. This month’s theme focuses on iPod, iPhone, and iPad game development. Now, I don’t have an iPad, yet, but you better believe I’m looking out for one to experiment with. The recent push on iPad and Android gives developers from a wide range of backgrounds opportunities to re-envision and create games anew.
We would like to thank this month’s authors, in order of appearance: Brian Robbins, Darius Kazemi, Bill Shribman, Emily Daniels, Alex Schwartz, Nick Smolney, Julian Farrior, Montreal Chapter, and Elizabeth Whitener for their contribution. As always, the IGDA Perspectives Newsletter is made by IGDA members for IGDA members.
For those of you who prefer a good ol’ website link, don’t mind the PDF attachment this month. By July’s issue, we’ll have a system in place to offer everyone their preference, whether HTML, PDF, or TXT.
If you have any questions or comments, and hey, suggestions for themes, feel free to get in touch.
