IGDA: Take the Challenge, Win The Prize
We're excited to announce our 2010 Membership Drive!
To continue to serve our international membership of over 10,000 individuals, we rely on the generous support of developers like you. Which brings us to an important question ...
Does your chapter have what it takes?
You know you're awesome, so stretch those recruiting muscles and spread the word. This is your chance to energize your chapter, gain recognition, share chapter tips with other chapter leaders, and win a cool prize.
Did you just say, "PRIZE?!?"
What would a competition be without some incentives? Besides bragging rights, you get an exclusive chapter celebratory event with a special VIP host (TBA). We'll also shout it from the rooftops (a feature article in the IGDA newsletter, a mention on the IGDA blog and social network announcements).
The Rules
The competition starts September 1st, 2010 and ends at midnight on October 31st, 2010. Each member you recruit earns points for your chapter. The chapter with the most points at midnight, October 31st, will be the grand prize winner.
Point values are as follows:
· Lifetime Member: 10 Points (a limited number of Lifetime Memberships are available)
· 2yr Core Member: 5 Points
· 1yr Core Member: 2 Points
· Student Member: 1 Point
Member registration is available online and as PDF. Send recruits to www.igda.org/join/online or print out the PDF membership application form here: www.igda.org/sites/default/files/IGDA_Membership_Application_0.pdf.
PDF forms can be submitted via email to sheri@igda.org or faxed to (856) 423-3420.
Eligibility
All IGDA chapters around the globe have the chance to be crowned the winner.
The Fine Print
