We're Starting a Newsletter!
I'm happy to announce that the Indie SIG is putting forth an effort to produce a quarterly newsletter. We are currently looking for anyone with an interest in participating in the newsletter. If you'd like to help out, e-mail Chris Charabaruk at <chris at coldacid dot net>.
Indie Calendar: TOJam 3 and GameCamp Toronto
Two great events coming up in May, if you live in the Greater Toronto Area. First (chronologically) is GameCamp Toronto, which is running its second event on Saturday May 3, 2008. It's free and all day – just register at the GameCamp Toronto website!
The second event takes a whole weekend – the ever popular and exciting Toronto Indie Games Jam (a.k.a. TOJam) is in its third year of getting people together to build games in under three days! There are still over 50 spots available for anyone available from May 9 through 11 with an idea they'd like to turn into an actual game. Register at the TOJam site by Friday May 2 in order to participate. And check out the games they have already made!
