02-May-2004: A report of the first meeting that took place at Karachi has been uploaded for all you people who missed it. It was a nice event, small but nice.
05-April-2004: First meeting in Karachi has been organized. Scroll down and check the date time and place. Be there. For this meeting you are going to get to meet your fellow Karachiite developers for the first time, and there's going to be a presentation on sound occlusion in a sound engine by Mr.Shams. And finally, a game programming book (Game Coding Complete) is going to be given away as a door prize, courtesy of Paraglyph Press and the IGDA.
10-Feb-2004: Lots of things happening. Anilogix has become an IGDA studio affiliate. First from Pakistan. And talks are going on to get the meetings started again. This time with a whole new perspective on things.
08-Dec-2003: Well this is a new and interesting development. Anilogix is an actual game development company that has opened up some time ago under my very nose right here in Karachi. Just found out about it today over the mailing lists. They have a fully developed game engine (the AN-Create 3D) that seems like it's capable of doing a lot of Good Things ™.
18-Nov-2003: Just thought I'd mention that I found a company in Karachi, which also has offices in Dubai and the U.S, that seem to be involved in game development. You can check them out over here.
