Join us on the 1st Wednesday of the month for an informal get together with fellow game developers. Come along and get out from behind that keyboard. Finn McCool’s is a cool Irish bar on Main Street, Santa Monica. Grab a few drinks, eat some good food (absolutely killer fish & chips) and get to know your fellow developers from the Los Angeles games industry.
The event starts at 7PM and officially it all wraps up by 8:30PM but, you're free to hang around the bar until closing time. On Wednesday evenings Finn McCool's brings in a local band for live music that kicks off at 9PM.

Description Once a month, on the 1st Wednesday, get together with

You can grab a few drinks, eat some good food (absolutely killer fish
& chips) and schmooze with your fellow developers from the rest of the
Los Angeles games industry.

where you can get to practice those "soft-skills" all the marketing
folks seem to have.

Guest Speaker: Ron Noble Emmy Award Winning Animation Creator and Director from Animation Army
Santa Monica, Ca (November 9, 2007) The November 19 session of the Animation 21 Lecture Series is dedicated to screening of " Living With Ridalyn and Hope Springs Eternal " from the Emmy Award winning director Ron Noble.
Ron will talk about production process on these films as a one man studio. Also, he will talk about life as director on big shows like Rugrats and where he thinks the future of independent animation will go vs. big studio animation.
