Localization

Mission: To provide a focal point and nexus for the growing number of game localization professionals in order to build community, draw together best practices and processes, and emphasize the requisite international dimension of game content development towards the goal of improving global game development processes and local end user experiences.

How to Get Involved:

1. Join the Official Loc SIG Mailing List:  http://six.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/locsig.
2. Email the list and introduce yourself! Also, use the list to bring up relevant localization topics and questions, including those seeking to enter the game localization field (i.e., newcomers are welcome!)
3. Join a Working Group! The SIG has established working groups on specific topics within game localization. Email SIG chair Tom Edwards for more information.
4. Keep up-to-date with SIG activities via this page and the SIG's IGDA wiki page.
