IGDA Manila Monthly Meetup - May 2010

Hey everyone,

The next IGDA meetup will be held this Saturday, May 29, 3PM at the UP ITTC, which should be familiar ground for everyone who joined the manila game jam.

We will be allowing last minute votes for the IGDA board (a nomination is now considered a vote, since there weren't enough nominees to make a race out of any of the positions) and announcing this year's incoming batch of IGDA board members.

We'll also be having an informative talk by Marco Palinar, who will be giving a talk on the differences between Flash and html5 and the possible issues or workarounds that might create in making a game. Marco is a professional web designer and Co-founder of Sinefunc, Inc. (a local web design/dev consulting shop).

Some food and snacks will be available during this meetup, thanks to the former Kuju Manila's farewell book sale.
