IGDA Manila Monthly Meetup - October 2010
Hey guys, it's IGDA meetup time again! This month our meetup will be art focused, since it's been way too long since we've done that!
At 3PM, members of the 501st legion (aka pinoy stormtroopers) will be trooping and posing for your pleasure in a one hour live sketching session!
In exchange for this awesome sketching session, we're asking the artists to donate to the A-HA learning center, a charity foundation that is a free tutoring center for street kids living in Makati cemeteries. Since I've done an awful job at describing their work, I've invited the founder of said organization, Jaton Zulueta, to do a quick presentation on A-HA that will melt your hearts and open your wallets!
Lastly, Alstaire Sarthou from Top Peg Animation will be giving a talk about the animation work they've recently done on some Wii games, and the differences between traditional and game animation!
All in all it's gonna be an exciting meetup, so please spread the word and get your artist friends to come!
