Numbers were a little down for the Spring Midlands Chapter IGDA evening due to various different events all happening on the same night, but it was still a fun evening and it was great to see everyone who made it.
The games quiz that Andrew hosted was tough but talent won out, and the prize of £100 plus beer was split between the Warwick Game Design team of Jonathan Gover, Phil Broadbent, Duncan Stead, Alan Hazelden, Sam Gynn, James Riley and Jon Cole, and a team comprising Bigbig Studios’ Tony Marshall, Paul Gartland, Kinwai Lee and Chun Li, along with Blitz’s Florian Raoult and Sylvain Gibouret, and Bruce Everiss.
The main raffle first prize, Wii Fit, was also won by Jonathan Gover (Warwick Uni were clearly having a good night ;) and the free raffle first prize of a Garmin sat nav was won by Codemaster’s Michael Nimmo.
We’re hoping to run another IGDA night in around 3 months time, so watch this space!
