October 02, 2005Improved Mobile SIG site launches!Great news! We have finally completed further upgrades to the Mobile SIG site! Click the below link for the run-down. The Mobile SIG site is now running on the Movable Type publishing platform, allowing for greater control over all content, namely news posts, announcements, and discussions. It will facilitate the launch of the new "Research" section (coming soon), and includes a much-needed RSS feed as well as improved overall navigation with a calendar that charts all posts and a search function. Members and visitors can also more easily make comments on all posts (hence the upcoming Research area), and check out archives. I hope that this upgrade is beneficial for all involved with the Mobile SIG, namely its continued progress and efficacy within the IGDA community as a whole. Once again, many thanks to Jason Della Rocca for setting some early things up for this, Rudy Geronimo for his support and prompts throughout, and of course Kurt Uhlir for continued management. "Where are all the old posts?" Thanks! Posted by John Richardson at 04:55 PM | Comments (0) | |
