Special Activity: Satosphere technology demo
Over the past year and a half, the Society for Arts & Technology (the usual venue for IGDA-Montreal presentation nights) has been under renovations and expansion. One of their major innovations has been the creation and installation of a 360-degree projection and audio dome they call the Satosphere. Among its amazing features, it can project real-time rendered 3D environments and games via a special camera stack in Unity.

During this special event, the SAT will provide a demonstration of what the Satosphere can do to members of the game industry and discuss the technology to drive it - and the possibility for playing games on its 360-degree surface. This is purely an informational session... we were so amazed by the tech during a private demo, that we wanted everyone to get a chance to check it out.
