Supporting Anna's Walk To Fight Breast Cancer
A note from Anna Sjöström of Babel Media:
I'll be participating in The Weekend to End Breast Cancer this August.My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006 and has received extraordinary treatment back home in London, leading to a full recovery. However, most of us know people who are not so lucky.
To help allow for more research, I'll walk 60km over the course of one weekend. Proceeds benefit Segal Cancer Centre at the Jewish General Hospital, and a McGill University teaching hospital.
As a condition of participation, I must raise at least $2,000. So, yes, this is a plea for your financial support.
