U.K. investigating Canadian gaming tax credits
The Vancouver Sun goes a bit sensational, saying that the U.K. is starting a trade war with Canada over the tax credits being offered to gaming companies, luring away them away from the U.K. The formal investigation will see if it is "compatible" with the WTO principles. Most gaming sites say it's pretty easy to understand why companies would make the jump. One U.K. blogger calls us Pesky Canadians and says it's about time someone investigated these incentives.
