Post GDC Action

...another month, another successful gathering of Montreal's IGDA chapter. There were approx 70-80 attendees on hand to chat about their GDC travels and share in all the leftover goodies from the show.

To get the presentations underway, JF William intro'd the evening's speakers with flair. First up was Francois Dominic Laramee to give an overview of GDC and some general trends from the show. Next, Rene Lavoie of CineGroupe summarized several AI sessions he had attended. Luc St-Onge of the NAD Centre gave a quick recap of the animation and modelling technologies. Finally, Jean-Francois Arseneau updated the group on a program to help entrepreneurs with financial aid to attend E3 in May (anyone interested should contact him directly at jfarseneau@numeriqc.ca).
