Meeting Announcement - May Social - Wed 5/25 7pm

Greetings IGDA-Jerseyites,

Yes it has been a while, but that's only because we had to delay to make the next meeting even more awesome.  

The coordinators are excited to announce our next social meeting on Wednesday 5/25 7pm - at the recently opened Barcade in Jersey City (http://barcadejerseycity.com/).  

For those who don't know, Barcade is a video game themed bar, stocked with lots of classic arcade games, as well as being a haven for craft beers (most of them local) The Jersey City location just opened a little over a week ago.  You can get directions here - http://barcadejerseycity.com/directions/  and for those mass tranist types, it's only a 2min walk from the grove street PATH stop. 

Go ahead and RSVP on the facebook event page - http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=181793811871354 - where you can ask any questions you might have, coordinate rides, etc.  

Please note - there is still the opportunity to run for an IGDA NJ coordinator position.  As of now we only have one nominee, Drew Sikora, and there are two open positions.  If you think you are interested feel free to email igda-nj-coordinators@googlegroups.com, or go ahead and nominate yourself (http://www.igda.org/forum/nj-igda-2011-elections-nomination-thread) and fill out a candidacy statement (http://www.igda.org/forum/nj-igda-2011-elections-candidacy-statements).

We'll be opening the floor so that all of the nominees will have their chance to try and get your vote.
