GEEK2012 is a cutting edge contemporary event set to take Margate by storm! The event will be centered around the historic Winter Gardens where Replay Events will be celebrating the history of video gaming, with More than 150 gaming systems and hundreds of playable games celebrating four decades of video gaming. Everything from consoles and computers to arcade machines and pinball will be on offer.
GEEK 2012 is not all about playing the games! A variety of activities will be on offer all over town throughout the five day event. From the free expo in the Queens Hall (where you can learn all about becoming a games developer in our Learning Lounge) with quest speakers to sipping on game inspired cocktails at a local bar or listening to Dan Simpson, Ross Sutherland and other gaming poets at the Tom Thumb Theatre.
