IGDA Awards International Students with GDC Europe Scholarships

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - August 4, 2005 - The International Game Developers Association (IGDA) has selected 10 students to participate in this year's Game Developers Conference Europe (GDCE) Scholarship Program. The scholarship will provide the recipients with full access to all sessions, roundtables and keynotes at GDCE, offering a unique opportunity to gain insight into the industry and network with professionals. The conference is slated for Aug. 30 - Sept. 1, 2005, in London, England.

"The scholarship program provides students with an inside track to game creation," says Jason Della Rocca, executive director of IGDA. "The IGDA is always looking for ways to encourage aspiring game developers because they represent the future of our industry."
