IGDA - Phoenix

For roughly 2 months the Phoenix chapter of the IGDA has been in the process of organization. With a bit of work, and patience, we can finally present to you a chapter with a place to call it's home.

The Art Institute of Phoenix has gladly accepted a role as our sponsors for the Phoenix IGDA chapter. Once a month we will hold our meetings within AIPX. Right now we are planning our first meeting for the 29th of May, the Wednesday right after E3. So if you're attending E3, be sure to collect some extra swag for the meetings!

The time for the meeting will probably be from 7-10pm, as will most meetings. The days for the meetings aren't fixed on Wednesdays, but they will most likely be on a weekday. Also plan on having a meeting once a month, towards the end of each month. The dates/times are subject to change, so keep your eyes peeled to these boards for updates. If you're curious as to where AIPX is, it is located near the Metrocenter mall, on Dunlap between 19th and 23rd Ave. The best way to get there is by getting on the I-17. Get off on Dunlap and make a right onto it, then around 2 lights down you'll see the AIPX on the right. If you need further directions, just let me know.

That's it for now. We'll keep you posted on progress, events etc. as soon as everything is nailed down. But as of now, plan on being at Phoenix's first chapter meeting May 29th.
