SF IGDA's next meeting is Wednesday, December 10th.

This month's presentation:
Hal Barwood on "Mastery & Mystery: Rules as Tools"

Hal will extend the rule base from "The 400 Project" -- his joint endeavor with Noah Falstein (SF IGDA's Nov. 2002 speaker) to codify rules of game design. Hal will discuss another half-dozen rules focused on storytelling in games and will explain where rules like these get their authority.

As always, everyone interested is welcome to attend. Arrive any time after 6:30pm. The meeting will get underway at 7:00pm.

After the presentation, we'll head over to Buzz 9 at 8th & Minna for drinks and networking.
